Something I made for a dear friend who’s a fellow swing dancer. ‘Blackbottom’ is a form of dance popular in the 30s, as seen in this amazing clip : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTR6xBeC2xA
Portrait of my parents. Sketched about a year ago, coloured digitally. I can’t be with them this Christmas, so this helps soothe the pain (and guilt) a little bit, hopefully.
Happy New Year 2013! My new year resolution: a drawing a day. Can I do it?
Mr and Mrs Porcupine in their narrow bed.
The two porcupines who met and fell in love at school then decided to get married, and build a burrow-home together. They are poor, so their burrow is not very big. When Mrs. Porcupine rolls in bed, she would hurt Mr. Porcupine, as her quills accidentally sticks him in the face. (story by Mungo Horey)
Seven hours manning the market stall, produced this sketch. Pencil, paper, photoshop colours.
